Curriculum Information
She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (Clássica) and is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association (Céd. Profissional nº. 5087L), has been practicing law ever since.
She was a member of the Lisbon District Council of the Portuguese Bar Association, in the three-year period 2002/2004, where she was part of the working groups analyzing cases relating to requests for exemption from professional secrecy and illegal attorney services.
She was an Oberver for the European Union in the elections that took place in Palestine on January 20, 1996, where she stayed for 21 days. After an initial 3-day security training course in East Jerusalem, she was posted to the West Bank city of Nablus, where she spent a further 18 days.
She took part in the 7th journeys Timor in 1997, coordinated by Prof. Barbedo de Magalhães, having had the opportunity to present research papers there, related to experiences lived by young Timorese under Indonesian rule.
